Georgia was born April 9, 1931 in Darlington, Missouri to Ralph and Velma (Rainey) McCampbell. She graduated from Stanberry, MO High School with the Class of 1949 and then would attend Northwest Missouri State University.
Georgia had a career in real estate for nearly 40 years until she retired in 2000 to help raise her grandchildren. She was a member of the Meadowbrook Elementary School PTA, very active with the Extension Club of Clay County, was the mother of three past Honored Queens of the Barry Chapter of Jobs Daughters, and a member of the Eastern Star, Barry Chapter. Georgia was a person who loved to travel but being home with her family is what made her happy.
Georgia was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Bobby Rex Elder; her parents; her two brothers, Donald McCampbell and Ralph "Mike" McCampbell, Jr.; and her nephew, Roger Dale McCampbell.
Survivors include her three daughters, Marta Lynn Elder; Lanita Ann Elder; and Valerie Evonne (Elder) Stancic; two grandsons, Michael and Bobby Stancic; nieces, Connie (McCampbell) Turnbull and Louise (McCampbell) Untiedt; nephews, Russell McCampbell and Gary McCampbell.
