Gina Marie Marchisio, age 56, of Gladstone, Missouri passed away on Thursday, July 23rd, 2026.
Born in Kansas City, Missouri, to Ron and DeDe (DeFeo) Marchisio, Gina was raised in a large, loving Italian Catholic family as the oldest of six children. The strong values of faith, love, family, and compassion shaped the remarkable woman she became.
Gina graduated from St. Pius X High School. During high school, she was invited to and attended the Missouri Scholars Academy. She later earned an Associate’s Degree. Shortly after graduation, Gina packed a U-Haul and headed to California without knowing anyone there. She just knew that’s where her dreams were leading her.
She began working in the convention industry and realized that was her passion. She later became a founding co-owner of Preferred Convention Services in California where she arranged lodging for conventions that created memorable experiences for countless people. Her favorite was always the Fireman’s Convention. After spending many years in California, Gina moved back home to be close to her family. She found a fulfilling career with Harley-Davidson, where she spent many years doing work she genuinely loved.
Gina embraced life with enthusiasm, generosity, and kindness. She had an infectious smile, a vibrant personality, and a zest for life that could brighten any room she entered. Her warmth made people feel welcome, safe, and loved.
Her heart was as beautiful as her spirit. She was always lending a helping hand to people and animals. One of her many gifts was caring for the elderly and putting the needs of others before her own. Her kindness and selflessness touched countless lives and will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Gina was a bright, creative and talented artist who found joy expressing herself through dancing, painting, arts and crafts, writing, sharing laughter, stories, and time with those she loved. Gina enjoyed the beauty in everyday moments and lived each day with passion, purpose and radiance.
Above all else, Gina's greatest joy and proudest accomplishment was being a mother. She loved her daughters, Haleigh and Harlyn, with her whole heart and was endlessly proud of the women they are becoming. She encouraged them to live boldly, love deeply, and always know they were cherished. Her unwavering love, strength, and support will remain with them always.
Gina deeply valued her family and friends. Her love, generosity, and adventurous spirit leave a lasting legacy that will continue to inspire those who knew and loved her. Though she will be deeply missed, the memories she created and the love she shared will remain in our hearts forever.
Gina is survived by her two daughters, Haleigh and Harlyn Marchisio. Her parents; Ron and DeDe Marchisio.
