Jessie was born on October 29, 1940 in What Cheer, Iowa to Walter Fuller and Margret Fuller (Martin). Jessie married Glen McLeod on June 28, 1985. After moving to Kansas City, Missouri Jessie began working for Shoney’s as a manager. Jessie later worked for Michaels Craft Store where she retired from. Jessie and Glen had a total of eight children. Her children and grandchildren remember her as a strong willed, loving, kind, gentle and kind hearted mother and grandmother who encouraged them to pursue their goals. She was a generous, witty, dedicated, mom and grandma who loved spending time with her kids, grandkids, and great grandkids. In her spare time she loved doing her Fill-In books and puzzles.
Jessie is preceded in death by her husband, parents, five brother, two sisters and infant son.
Jessie is survived by a sister Margret Voles of Rock Island, Ill. Children Cheryl Carver (Ronnie) Christina Whittle, John Foss (Sue), James Foss (Kelly) Laura Collins, William McLeod, Michael McLeod and Helen Wade (Steve), 14 grand kids and 11 great grandkids and several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life is scheduled for both Jessie and Glen on Saturday, August 14, 2021, visitation is from 2-3:00 pm with service beginning at 3:00 pm at McGilley Antioch Chapel. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Jessie and Glen's life.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Jessie's memory may be made to Susan G. Komen Cancer Foundation or St. Luke’s Hospice.
