Glenn M. Johnson passed away peacefully on May 3, 2018 in Kansas City, KS at the age of 64. Glenn was born on January 6, 1954 in Wichita, KS. He graduated from Park College in 1996 with a Bachelor of Arts in History and later received a Master of Education with honors in 1998. Glenn continued his education and received an Education Specialist degree from the University of Missouri Kansas City in 2001 and his Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from the Saint Louis University in 2007. Glenn married his sweetheart, Carol A. Johnson, on June 19, 1976. He retired from the Kearney School District after eleven years as a Social Studies Teacher. He also enjoyed scoring the Park University Men’s Basketball games for twenty years. Glenn was a member of The First United Methodist Church of North Kansas City for over 30 years. Glenn enjoyed traveling, teaching, bowling, reading, and spending time with his family. His family remembers him as a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Glenn is survived by his wife, Carol; sons, Bill (Tara) Johnson and Chris (Paige) Johnson; grandchildren, Hunter, Evan, Max, Cheyanne and future granddaughter Savannah.
Service 6:00pm Monday May 7, 2018, White Chapel Funeral Home, Gladstone, MO. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Inurnment White Chapel Memorial Gardens at a later date.
