Greer Alexandra Westbrook was born on a Sunday at 3:09 pm on July 10, 1994 to proud parents Jenelle and Greg Westbrook. Greer was their first and only child together. Later two families would be in Greer’s life (her mom, stepdad Peter and half-sister Lilly, and her dad, stepmom Linda and step-siblings Lindsey, Randy and Alyssa).
Greer was such a beautiful girl with so much personality, full of life and not afraid of anything. She lived life on her own terms, and she did a lot of living in her 26 short years. She passed on Friday, December 4th, leaving behind a grieving family that misses her so very much. We will cling to the countless wonderful memories we shared together to comfort us as we mourn her loss. Greer is now at peace with her family and friends that went before her. Let there be no question as to the depth and the breadth of the love we have for her. As it says in the children’s book, “Guess How Much I Love You” (that we read together so many times), we love you Greer, “to the moon and back.”
Greer was laid to rest at White Chapel Memorial Gardens in Gladstone, MO. The family will announce plans for a celebration of life at a later date. If lieu of flowers, we request donations in Greer’s name to the YMCA of Greater Kansas City, an organization whose programs she benefitted from growing up, and one that helps children and families through a variety of ways across the metropolitan area.
