Gregory E. Lee

Born on September 15th, 1970, Greg was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather who left an indelible mark on the lives of those around him.

Greg graduated from Winnetonka High School in Kansas City, although most of his high school years were spent in Edmond, Oklahoma. He went on to attend Texas A&M University, where he graduated with a Business Administration degree in 1997.

Greg’s IT-focused career began at Radio Shack during his school years, leading to a significant role as a program director at Sprint upon college graduation. In 2008, Greg transitioned to NIC, which was later acquired by Tyler Technologies. He contributed his talents and expertise throughout his IT career both professionally and personally.

Family was the centerpiece of Greg's life. He is survived by his devoted wife, Laura Michelle (Burks) Lee; daughter, Taylor Victoria (Lee) Bingham and her husband Maxwell; son, Jared Edmond Lee; granddaughters, Anya Kiernan Bingham and Liliana Seroja Bingham; father, Kent Pribil; brother, Jeffrey Lee and his wife Karen; sister, Deborah Ramsey and her husband Dave; and brother Denver Lee.

Greg was preceded in death by his mother, Sharon Nannette (Wheeler) Pribil.

His family (especially his granddaughters) and numerous aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends were the joy of his life, illuminating every moment they shared.

Greg's hobbies included 3D printing and model airplanes, which showcased his love for intricate details and craftsmanship. He also cherished the times he took his wife ballroom dancing and the memorable cruises they took together with family and friends.

His love for his wife shined throughout everything Greg did. Their love story started at the tender age of 14 and survived long-distance from 1988 until 1991, which felt like an eternity. The significance of their love is memorialized in his son’s middle name which is the name of the city in which his love for Laura began.

A Celebration of Life will be held at White Chapel Funeral Home in Gladstone, Missouri, at 2 PM on Sunday, November 3, 2024, where friends and family will gather to honor and remember Greg's remarkable life.

His legacy of clever humor, love, dedication, and kindness will forever resonate with those who were fortunate enough to know him.
