She was born January 12, 1932, in Winona, Missouri, the daughter of Hulen and Myrtle Skiles.
Hazel married Glennon Monnig on September 26, 1953, this union was blessed with four children.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Glennon Monnig; two sons, Gary Monnig Sr. and Keith Monnig; and one brother, Carl Skiles.
Hazel is survived by her two children, Dean (Robyn) Monnig of Kansas City, Missouri; and Donna (Terry) Colley of Liberty, Missouri; six grandchildren; and several great grandchildren;
A visitation will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, at the White Chapel Funeral Home, 6600 NE Antioch Rd, Gladstone, Missouri, with funeral service to begin at Noon, burial will follow in the Hillcrest Cemetery, 201 E. Broadway, Excelsior Springs, Missouri.
Hazel loved having fun and always said she got into more trouble laughing when she shouldn’t. She dedicated her life to her family and will be greatly missed.
Loving “Mom” to us, but “Ma” to most.
