Jean was born March 2, 1936, in Kansas City, Missouri to W. Edward McGuire and Cora C. (Crane) McGuire. She was extremely proud to be a mother to Eddy and Tina and her adopted son, Trinity, as well as her grandson, Sean. She and her husband, Robert, loved to entertain folks at their house. She was obsessed with Roy Rogers and had a strong love for the KC Royals and KC Chiefs. Jean and Robert enjoyed traveling to New Orleans often for their anniversary.
Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Stevenson; her parents; her daughter, Christina Van Horn; her son, Edward E. Lee; her sisters, Mary Ann Bisacca and Edith Irene McGuire.
Survivors include her son, Trinity; her grandson, Sean Van Horn; her sister, Claudia Kern; her great grandchildren, Draven Stevenson, Byron Van Horn, Bodhi Van Horn, and Jagger Van Horn; and countless nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
