Homer Richard Rector, 72, of Gladstone, MO passed away January 17, 2017, surrounded by family. He was born February 29, 1944 in Lebanon, MO. Homer retired from KCPL in 2000, after 31 yrs. He was preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Mary M. Rector. Survivors include his mother, Mary Jo Rector; 3 children, Michelle Rector, Melissa (Robert) Keith and Richard Rector; and grandson, Kevin Rector. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 am, Saturday, January 21, 2017 at St. Andrews Catholic Church. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the mass. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial gifts to NorthCare Hospice.
