Ira Eugene “Gene” Robertson, 81, of Kansas City, MO died June 7, 2016. Gene was born September 27, 1934 in Howard County, AR to Alton and Gladys Robertson. He grew up in Nashville, AR and in 1953 he moved to Kansas City. He worked for the Kansas City Southern Railroad until he retired in 1996. He was a member of Linden Baptist Church in Gladstone.
He was preceded in death by his son, Loren in 1980 and his 2 sisters Mary Jane Ringer and Bennie Sue Parsons. He is survived by his wife Juanita; son Steven (Donna) and their 3 sons, Joel, Kyle and Kurt all of Kansas City; daughter Ashley Robertson of Houston, TX; brother Jerry (Doris) of Nashville, AR and brother-in-law Charles Ringer.
Service 11:00am Monday White Chapel Funeral Home, Gladstone, MO. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment 1:00pm Monday, Platte City Cemetery, Platte City, MO.
