J.T. was born on August 16, 1946 in Hamilton, MO to Donald Tremain and Mary Periman. He graduated from North KC High School in 1964 and worked for Corn Products/National Starch for 45 years, retiring in 2010. J.T. was married to the love of his life, Linda, in 1976 and just celebrated 46 years of marriage on February 14th. The couple chose this date so they would forever be each other’s sweethearts.
J.T. was a die hard Chiefs fan, had a lifelong love of bowling, and was president of the Northland Mixer at Gladstone bowl. He especially loved the two vacations to Table Rock Lake with his family and he certainly never missed an opportunity to crack a joke. But most of all, he loved his family, loved spending time with his family, and was forever grateful to have enjoyed all the activities he could with his children and grandchildren.
J.T. was preceded in death by his father, Don Tremain. Survivors include his mother, Mary Periman; his wife, Linda Tremain; his children, Scott and Wendi Tremain, Jamie Lyn Lozano and Ozzie, Matt Tremain and Michelle; his seven grandchildren, Kyle, Tricia, Preston, Mikayla, Brianna, Dalton and Jillian; 3 great grandchildren Brentley, Arianna and Mayleigh; and one brother, Larry Tremain.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations maybe sent to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society at PO Box 22324, New York, NY 10087 or https://givenow.lls.org/give/394054/#!/donation/checkout.
The family also requests casual attire at the services with your favorite Chiefs gear as that would bring a smile to his face.
The family would like to thank the caring staff at the KC Hospice House for their compassion and love in our time of need. They would also like to thank Dr. Jeremy Flanagan and the amazing staff at KU CC North for their dedication to excellence.
A visitation for Jim will be held Monday, March 7, 2022 from 6 to 8 pm. Funeral service will occur Tuesday, March 8, 2022 starting at 10 am, followed immediately by the burial all taking place at White Chapel Funeral Home and Cemetery, 6600 NE Antioch Rd., Gladstone, MO 64119.
