With heavy hearts the family of Jacob Skyler Stowers announce his unexpected death on Thursday, June 21st, shortly before midnight. He was born on May 13th, 1993. Jacob (Jake) will be lovingly remembered by his mother, Carol Harris, his father Sean Stowers and his brother, Steven Stowers. Jake was a beloved son, brother, cousin, nephew and friend; he will forever be remembered by his girlfriend Madison.
Jacob graduated from Shawnee Mission North High School and previously worked at Tires Plus and Hereford House and had recently started a new job at Yard House. He had mad skills in the kitchen. Jacob enjoyed spending time with his family, playing video games and was passionate about music. He loved going to music festivals and visiting family in Canada where he spent time at the family cottage. Jacob touched so many hearts through gaming. His smile would light up a room. He was a true hero who died protecting his girlfriend.
Services will be held Saturday June 30th at White Chapel Funeral Home at 1 pm with burial immediately following.
