James Robert Miller Jr., 72, passed away on January 10, 2019 in Kansas City, MO. James “Jim” was born in New London, Connecticut on October 15, 1946 to James Robert Miller Sr. and Lillian Maxine Miller.
He is survived by his sister, Elaine Mussett; nephew, Ken Mussett and wife, Diana; and niece, Stacey Strasburg. He is also survived by great nephews, Devin Ragone, Alex Mussett and Kyle High.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Robert Miller Sr.; mother, Lillian Maxine Coats; brother, John Edward Miller; sisters, Darlene Elizabeth Coats and Brenda Christine Coats; and nephews, Sean Yochim and Vincent Raley.
Although Jim was born in Connecticut, Kansas City is where he called home. He was a graduate of Oak Park High School, class of 1966. Jim had a huge heart and was kind to everyone he met. He loved spending time with his niece and nephew when they were younger. Jim loved to ride his tractor and his four wheeler all over his property. He loved to eat ice cream, go out to eat and to the movies. He was a kid at heart. He will be missed by so many.
