

Jason Michael Allinder, 40, passed away on Friday, February 3, 2017. He was born in Kansas City, MO on September 28, 1976. He attended Crestview Elementary, Northgate Middle, and graduated in 1994 from NKC High School where he played football and baseball for the NKC Hornets. Jason received a baseball scholarship to Maple Woods Community College playing 3rd base on the team. Jason started in athletics by playing t-ball for the WFC. He loved football as well, he played for the Chargers and had the privilege to play a championship game at Arrowhead Chiefs stadium. He decided that baseball was his passion especially pitching, he was a team member on the Red Sox, Diamond Kings, and The Train which was a competitive traveling baseball team. He continued to play softball through his adult life. He coached his son’s and their team mates on The Royals, Millhouse, and most recently The Diamond Kings. Jason lived life passionately and to the fullest. He felt for his friends and his family. He was a beloved son, a devoted father, and a loyal friend. His smile would light up a room and his hugs were so heartfelt. He leaves behind mother, Inge Traub, father, Larry Allinder, grandfather, William "Opa" Rodgers, sons, Brycen, Justin, and Jacob Allinder, many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members and dear friends. No farewell words were spoken, no time to say goodbye, you were gone before we knew it and only God knows why. May you find comfort in the hands of angels , until we meet again. Family will welcome friends from 5:00 - 9:00 pm, Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at White Chapel Funeral Home, Gladstone, MO.
