I always appreciated Jeanine's smile. She was always cheerful whenever I saw her at the Atkins-Johnson Farm. I know it's hard to lose parents and wish you happier days in the future. My thoughts are with you.

Years ago when my kids were young we would play out in our back yard and several times Jeanine would come out to sit and watch. Sometimes we could hear her laughing and that made the kids happy. Sometimes Jeanine would walk to the fence to talk with us, she enjoyed talking with my kids and vice versa. She was always quick with a smile.

Jeanine was such a dear friend to my mother, Ruth Mowers Kelly. She was there so many times in my and my family’s most important moments. I remember when we were making the wedding and bridesmaids dresses for my sisters wedding. Of course Jeanine was supervising it all. I was so embarrassed when she called me out for simi sloppy cutting. I so wanted her to think I was a good seamstress. Jeanine and Bill were like a second mom and dad to us. Forever she will be in my heart.

My Dearest Aunt Jeanine, I am so glad that I spoke to you and Kathy this past Wednesday. I loved you so much. You have many Angels to receive you in Heaven. Rest in Peace. Your "niece Denise" as you loved to joke about.
