Jeff was born in Independence, MO, on December 10, 1961.
He grew up in the local neighborhoods of Holiday Hills and Sherwood with his older sister, Jamie, under the tutelage of his parents Jim and Carol. Jeff met a few life-long friends playing in the neighborhoods and extending those friendships into school, sports, and recreation. He met his wife, Susan, at Eastgate Junior High School and graduated Winnetonka High School in 1980.
In 1981, Jeff’s eldest son, Josh, was born in Kansas City. After becoming a Father, he started his career in the propane industry at M&E Equipment Company in North Kansas City in 1984. He would continue his work as a traveling salesman for 25 years. Later that year in ‘84, Jeff and Susan gave birth to their youngest son, Jimmy. Two years later, Jeff’s only daughter, Nikki, was born in Kansas City in 1986.
While raising his children with his wife Susan, Jeff began his passion for the Kansas City Chiefs, enjoying season tickets throughout the 1990’s. He spent the golden years of his life traveling to St. Augustine, Florida with his immediate family and meeting other family and friends there for vacation. Jeff also enjoyed visiting National Parks with his wife throughout the country. He continued his work overseas with Susan, leading an inventory team at a hardware store in Bermuda from 2010-2011. He retired in 2016. Jeff was a man of many self-taught skills who also taught folks his tricks to those trades. After retirement, Jeff loved: being a Grandpa, working on household remodeling projects, gardening, fishing, and grilling.
