Jessica Elaine Cyrus

Jessica was the loving and devoted mother of Kemberleigh Cyrus. She was the sister of her best friends Joshua Cyrus and Kevin Cyrus (Anissa). She is also survived by the loves of her life, nieces Kayleigh, Samantha, Hannah, Lilly and Luna.

Jessica was the most loving and giving person we have ever had the pleasure of knowing. From emotional support in hard times to lending a hand when assistance was needed. She was a true inspiration of what family really means, going above and beyond no matter the hardship that follows. In every way, she was the string that tied us all together. We were very blessed to have been her family. Every inch of our home has her touch stamped on it. Her heart didn’t function without giving especially to family or friends.

She is survived by her daughter Kem, parents Scott and Wendy, brothers Joshua and Kevin. Her Grandmother Barbara Ottwell, aunts Kathy (Len) Dailey, Rebecca West, Uncle Ken (Kathy) Birnel. Aunt Teresa Binette and Aunt Wendy (Don) Swain, Uncle Joe Seurer. Cousins Christina Metz (Dale), Linda Cullen (Casey), Jennifer Binette and Jill Ambuehl and many extended family members.

She is preceded by Grandpa Alvin Cyrus, Grandma Magdalen Cyrus, Grandpa Ken Birnel, Aunt JoAnn Seurer, Great Grandma Catherine (Kitty) Ellison, and cousin Erin Dailey.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Celebration of Life at Solid Rock Bible Church at 2501 NE Parvin Road Kansas City, Missouri 64117 on November 1, 2026 at 1:00 - 4:00 pm. Charcuterie type food and drinks will be provided and if you wish to contribute it would be welcomed.
