Born on October 21, 1950, to Hubert and Helen Gregory, Jimmy grew up in the northland, where he graduated from Park Hill High School.
In 1968, Jimmy married the love of his life, Beverly, and together they built a family and a home in the northland. Jimmy dedicated 44 years of his career to Certainteed before retiring in 2013.
Jimmy was a man of many passions. He loved working on cars, fishing, and cheering on his grandchildren at their sporting events. Known for his generous spirit, Jimmy never met a stranger and was always ready to lend a helping hand.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hubert and Helen Gregory, his beloved wife, Beverly, and his brother, Sonny Gregory.
Jimmy is survived by his brother, Jack Gregory; his son, Ron (Angie) Gregory; his daughter, Nicolle Gregory; his grandchildren, Kelsey, Taylor, Joshua, Emma, and Brooklyn; his great-granddaughters, Layla and Mila; and several nieces and nephews.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the nurses and doctors at North Kansas City Hospital and North Kansas City Hospice House for their compassionate care.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the North Kansas City Hospice House or the American Cancer Society.
Jimmy’s warmth, kindness, and unwavering support will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A visitation for Jimmy will be held Friday, August 23, 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at White Chapel Funeral Home, 6600 NE Antioch Rd, Gladstone, MO 64119, followed by an in remembrance from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
