Joanna Louise Thompson (Findley) January 6, 1935 – May 12, 2018 Daughter of Emmet Lee Findley and Maggie Luceal Findley. Predeceased by two brothers: Wm. Harvey Lee and Emmett Glen Findley; her husband of 60 years, William V. Thompson Jr. She is survived by siblings Jack L. Findley, Alice J. Tidwell, Nancy F. Findley, and Richard A. Findley; two sons, William V. Thompson III and Kenneth A. Thompson ; grandchildren: Dylan Russell Thompson, Priscilla Parker, Jeremy Hans Schadel, Joanna Louise Geiseke, Kena M. Guterrez and 8 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Born in Allendale MO. She married her childhood sweetheart and moved to Kansas City in 1952. She continued her education after raising her children and graduated with an Associates Degree in bookkeeping. She worked at Farmland industries until she retired. She died on May 12th 2018 Services Officiated by Rev Nancy F Covington will be held at D. W. Newcomer’s White Chapel Funeral home, 6600 NE Antioch Rd., Gladstone, MO. 64119 on Saturday, May 19th at 2:00 PM.
