John Ray Collins Sr.

John Ray Collins, 81, passed away on April 1, 2026. He was born on August 24, 1944, in Elijah, Missouri. John lived a life defined by quiet strength, unwavering faith, and deep devotion to his family. He served honorably in the United States Army National Guard and later built a respected career with Bayer, retiring as a Warehouse Manager. For more than 40 years, he was a devoted member of Briarcliff Baptist Church. He found joy in hunting, fishing, and especially in time spent with his grandchildren. He is survived by his sons John, Jeff, and Jason Collins; daughters-in-law Tiffany Collins and Maria Del Rosario Morales-Lozano; and grandchildren Jaxon, Jordan, Mia, and Sofia Collins. He will be deeply missed.

Visitation will be held at Briarcliff Baptist Church, 800 NE Vivion Rd, Kansas City, MO 64118, on May 2, 2026, at 10:00 am, followed by the Funeral Service at 11:00 am. A Reception to Follow will take place at Briarcliff Baptist Church on May 2, 2026, at 12:00 pm.

A Graveside Service With Military Honors will be held at White Chapel Cemetery, 6600 NE Antioch Rd, Gladstone, MO 64119, on May 2, 2026, at 1:30 pm.
