John Sylvester Montes

John was the beloved husband of Terrie Sue Cook for 13 years. He was the loving father of John Anthony Montes and Angela Maria Montes. John was the proud grandfather of four grandchildren: Joshua Carl Parton, Jesse Miguel Caswell, Johnathan Mitchell Parton, Selena Nicole Malhotra, and one great-grandson Jamari Miguel Parton. He was the brother of Robert Montes. John is also survived by many cousins and friends.

John worked for the United States Postal Service for 46 years.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Funeral Service at White Chapel Funeral Home, 6600 NE Antioch Rd., Gladstone, MO 64119 on Thursday, March 19, 2026 at 7:00 PM with Visitation from 5:00 PM until 6:30 PM. The Rosary will be prayed at 6:30 PM prior to the Funeral Service. Committal Service will be held privately by the family at White Chapel Cemetery, Gladstone, MO.
