Johnnie was the beloved husband of Gwendolyn Fields for nearly 56 years. He was the loving father of Allen, Anthony, Michael, Isaac and Maricole. Johnnie was the proud grandfather of 9 grandchildren. He is also survived by many siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Johnnie was a committed man of God who lived life to the fullest and inspired hundreds to do the same over his 50 years as a pastor, coach, mentor and friend. He loved his family and taught them how to navigate life with character, strength and a sense of humor.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Celebration of Life Service at Christ Temple North Church, 5703 N. Flora AVE, Gladstone, MO 64119 on Saturday, July 25th at 11AM. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Christ Temple North. These donations will be forwarded to Safehaven Battered Women’s Shelter.
