Annette was born on November 18, 1941 in Gardner, Kansas to Norman & Mildred Hunt. She graduated from Eudora High School in 1959. She married Larry Emmett, of Larry Emmett and The Sliders, out of High School and had 3 children with him. After that marriage dissolved, she held various jobs from working at the Eudora Dairy Queen while in high school, or being a model, to retiring as Relocation Coordinator for Farmland Industries. While working for Cessna, she met her 2nd husband Ronald Cosby, who adopted her 3 children. He passed in 1987 of complications from cancer. In 1994 Annette married her current husband Lance Boudreaux.
Annette was a member of North Heartland Community Church, recently reorganized into New Hope Church. She volunteered many times over the years and felt very blessed from it.
She is preceded in death by her parents Norman Thornton & Mildred Catherine Hunt of Lenexa, KS; and her son Jeffrey Paul Cosby of Parkville, MO.
Annette is survived by her husband, Lance Ashley Boudreaux of Parkville, MO; Daughter Melody Kay Hemenway of Bethany, MO; Son Jon Douglas Cosby of Riverside, MO; Step Son Aron Ashley Boudreaux of Lee’s Summit, MO; Brother Raymond Lee Hunt of Wellsville, KS; and their respective spouses.
A Celebration of Life will be held at New Hope Church 4800 NW 88th St, Kansas City, MO 64154 on Saturday October 1st from 3 pm until 6 pm. Visitation (3-4) and service (4-5) will be followed by a catered meal (5-6). All are welcome to attend and celebrate Annette's life.
