Kay was born in Lexington on January 5th, 1937 to Lawrence and Viola Hoeppner. She graduated from Corder High School.
She married James Rolan on May 18, 1957. They raised their family in Kansas City. Kay greatly enjoyed her Grandkids, Nascar and sewing.
She is preceded in death by her husband, parents and infant son, Michael Wayne.
She is survived by her children: Connie Montemayor (Ted) of Kansas City, Michael Rolan (Amy) of Corder.
Grandchildren: Emily Doner (Dylan) of Grand Ledge, Michigan, Molly Rolan (Matthew Callicotte) of Austin, Texas, Anabel Morris (Drew) of Watertown, New York, Trent Montemayor of Kansas City, Kaitlyn Montemayor of Kansas City.
Great Granddaughter: Eliza Doner.
Siblings: Ida Jean Rogers of Anacortes, Washington, Gayle Joiner of Olathe, Kansas, Nyla Hoeppner (Bill) of Independence, Missouri, Ruth Bellmer of Georgetown, Texas and Larry Hoeppner (Teresa) of Higginsville, Missouri.
A Committal Service will be held Friday, July 23rd at 11:00 a.m. at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville, Missouri.
