Kerry was born in North Kansas City and grew up in Liberty, Missouri. She graduated from Liberty High School in 1978. She worked at Blue Cross Blue Shield for 20 years, among other accounting positions for various businesses.
A very creative person, Kerry always enjoyed crafting, painting and quilting. She supported her children and grandchildren in all of their school activities and athletic events. She enjoyed Kansas City's local theatre and was a season ticket holder at the New Theatre Restaurant.
Kerry is preceded in death by her parents, Alford and Mary Reese; grandparents, great uncle, great aunt and her brother-in-law, Rob Forsythe. She is survived by her husband, Ed; a son, Lee (Angela); a daughter, Brandi; four grandchildren, Austin (Faith), Madison, Mattie and Karly; and a great-granddaughter, Hadleigh; a sister, Jo Forsythe and a brother, Jeff Reese.
