Kirk was the beloved partner of Cynthia “Cindy” Kay Younger for 6 years. He was the father of David E. Lynch. He was the grandfather of David Reed Lynch.
Kirk was a graduate of Grove City College earning a Bachlors in Religion and Philosophy. He received a Jazz Guitar degree from Berklee College of Music in Boston. He was a master technician and very detail oriented. Kirk was an amazing musician, teacher, and was a passionate builder of Uilleann Pipes. He was a member of the music group Scartaglen who released 3 albums where he played the Uilleann pipes.
