Dr. Kristine Baker

Kristine was the beloved wife of Sheryl Baker, her soulmate of 18 years, and a proud and loving bonus mom to Brett Williams. Together, they created a life filled with laughter, devotion, adventure, and deep care for one another and those around them. Their bond was evident to all who knew them and Kristine's life was profoundly shaped by the love they shared.

A gifted chiropractor, acupuncturist, and Certified LifeLine Practitioner, Kristine devoted her life to healing in its fullest sense—physical, emotional and energetic. She was born in St. Louis, Missouri and graduated from Pattonville High School as Salutatorian. Continuing her education, Kristine earned her Doctor of Chiropractic and Bachelors of Science in Human Biology degrees from Logan University (formerly Logan College of Chiropractic) by the age of 21 and also earned her certification from the International Academy of Medical Acupuncture.

Kristine was a passionate student of healing and of life itself. She approached each day with curiosity, gratitude, and an open heart. Known for her warmth, quick wit, and unwavering generosity, she never met a stranger. Whether as a practitioner, friend or teacher, Kristine had a rare ability to make people feel seen, safe and cared for deeply.

She was known as a radiant presence: someone who shared her wisdom freely, encouraged others wholeheartedly, and lived the values she believed in: kindness, inclusion, infinite love and gratitude. Her absence is felt profoundly by all who walked alongside her.

Kristine found joy in hot summer days, tritoon boat rides and traveling with Sheryl and close friends. She cherished time at home with her beloved dogs, who were a constant source of comfort and joy: Max, Roxi, Leia, and Jaxson, and her time on the water at Pomme de Terre lake.

Dr. Kristine Baker was a licensed Chiropractor and Acupuncture specialist who served the Kansas City and Pomme de Terre community. She graduated Cum Laude with her Doctor of Chiropractic and B.S. in Human Biology degrees from Logan University in St. Louis, Missouri in August of 2001. Dr. Baker also earned her Fellow from the International Academy of Medical Acupuncture in 2001, where she received her Acupuncture training.

Dr. Baker was a Certified Lifeline Practitioner. Lifeline Technique combines over fourteen different healing modalities in a sixteen step process to release the reactive emotional patterns related to fear, stress, and pain. She saw many drastic improvements in patients' minds and bodies after a series of Lifeline one-on-one sessions.

Dr. Baker was also a Lifeline Ignite Teacher and offered classes throughout the year. The Ignite Process is five of the sixteen steps of the Lifeline Technique and could be taught to anyone including children. Students reported a drastic increase in confidence, and a profound connection to their ability to ignite the natural healing abilities of their bodies, as well as many other benefits.

She had also taken Total Body Modification Modules 1, 2, 3, 4, Art of Chiropractic, BE (Basic Exam), as well as TBM Alive which is an annually held research symposium. She had also attended the TBM Instructor Course and met all of the requirements to be a TBM Instructor.

Dr. Baker completed Craniosacral Therapy I and II and SomatoEmotional Release I from the Upledger Institute and integrated it into her care with many of her patients.

Dr. Baker took additional Post-Graduate training in Pediatrics and Pregnancy from the International Chiropractic Pediatrics Association. She was also Webster Technique Certified. Webster Technique helps balance the pelvis in pregnant women, giving their babies more room to move into the proper position in utero.

Dr. Baker was a 3rd-generation chiropractor with over 24 years of clinical experience. She worked with kids and babies every day in her practice and was always excited to learn more.

Dr. Kristine Baker was known for her Chiropractic Adjustments, both "Light Force" and Manual or "Diversified" Adjustments. She took care of patients of all ages, from birth forward. She also specialized in Prenatal and Newborn Adjustments, Infertility, Craniosacral Therapy, Total Body Modification, Acupuncture, and Nutrition. Dr. Baker was a firm believer in holistic wellness and prevention.

She had also taken seminars related to pregnancy health care, hormone balancing for men and women, infertility acupuncture, and much more. Dr. Baker continually strived to educate herself so that she provided the best care for her patients.

She was well-respected and regarded as an excellent Chiropractor by her patients in Kansas City as well as in her previous practice in St. Louis.

In her spare time, Dr. Kristine enjoyed spending time with her family, going to the lake, boating, and traveling. She especially enjoyed going to the beach and warm winter destinations.

Dr. Kristine Baker was featured in a news story on KCTV5 News on Wednesday, September 30th, 2015 in a story about Chiropractic's benefits for young babies. She was also featured on NBC Action News on Friday, September 3rd, 2010 in a story about Acupuncture and Infertility. Dr. Kristine Baker was featured in the Logan Tower, a publication from Logan University, where she was recognized for her excellence in Pediatric and Pregnancy Chiropractic care.

Dr. Kristine Baker will be remembered as a devoted wife, a healer, a teacher, and a beautiful soul who brought light wherever she went. Her legacy lives on in the love she shared, the healing she offered, and the countless lives she touched.
