Jackie was born on December 20, 1928 in Picher, Oklahoma to the late George E McDaniel and Jewel Iona Armstrong. She left Picher when she was 14 and moved to the Kansas City area to live with her mother's sister and family. She lived with Aunt Nona and Uncle Nelson until she graduated from the original Shawnee Mission High School in 1946.
She met and later married John Mark Koenig in 1946. They had one daughter, Janice Diane (Koenig) Reintjes. John preceded her in death from a car accident in 1950.
In 1951, Jackie met and married Francis Wayne Giles and they had three children, Brenda Rae (Giles) Higgins, Sherry Lynn (Giles) Gillespie and Brad Daniel Giles. In 1970, this union ended in divorce and in 1978 she married Randall Gordon Jones until his death in 1984.
Jackie was a devout member of the Gladstone Seventh Day Adventist Church. She was active in several groups and loved the fellowship she had.
Jackie is survived by her four children, sixteen grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. She was loved very much and will be missed!
Due to Covid the family will have a private family service with burial Green Lawn Cemetery Kansas City, Missouri. Friends will be able to watch the service on Newcomer's White Chapel Facebook page which will be posted Tuesday February 16, 2021 at 11AM.
