Lea Lundgren, 90, of Kansas City, MO passed away December 4, 2016. She was born March 4, 1926 in Kansas City, MO to Rufus and Beulah Sheets. Lea graduated from Northeast High School in Kansas City in 1943. She worked as a secretary for Missouri Pacific Railroad, where she met her husband, Richard Lundgren. They were married 54 years and had three children. Lea was strong in her faith and steadfast in her devotion to caring for her family. Lea was preceded in death by her mother and father; sisters, Wilma Sheets, Eunice Stubbs and Marian Cummings; husband, Richard Lundgren; and her son, Barrett Lundgren. She is survived by her daughters, Sharon Lundgren and Debbie Oien; granddaughter, Natalie Oien, as well as her nephews, Bruce Stubbs (Linda) and Phil Cummings (Debbie). A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Sunday, December 11th at the White Chapel Funeral Home. Entombment will take place at 10:00 am Monday, December 12th, at White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
