Leon B. Justice, age 86, passed away on September 2, 2026. He was born on February 19, 1940 in Iola, KS to Thea and Welda Justice. He attended North Kansas City High School where he met his high school sweetheart, Brenda. They graduated together in 1958 and married on November 28th of the same year.
After 30 years, he retired from Ford Motor Company. Leon was a man of great faith, serving as a Deacon at Moment of Truth Bible Baptist Church. The most important thing to him was family, and his favorite hobbies were his 1940 Ford Coupe and traveling the globe with his wife.
He will be remembered for his huge heart, quick witted sense of humor, and his loyalty to his friends. He would drop anything to help someone in need, and he was known for giving the best advice.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thea and Welda; his sisters, Lena and Cindy; and his son, Bill.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Brenda; his children, Rob (Paula) Justice, Randy (Heidi) Justice, Tamey Perryman, and Dan (Jane) Justice; his grandchildren, Jesse, Kaci, Brittany, Joel, Tiffani, Alex, Jacob, Taylor, and Hunter; and his 14 great-grandchildren.
A visitation will take place on Tuesday, September 8, 2026 at 11 AM, followed by a funeral service at 12 PM. Leon's final resting place will be in White Chapel Cemetey.
