Leslie Ernest Johnson passed away on Tuesday, January 13, 2026 surrounded by family at his home in North Kansas City, MO. He was born on January 16, 1951 in Independence, MO to Ernest Dale Johnson and the late Dorothy Woods Johnson.
Les was the beloved husband of Lydia Pates Johnson for 35 years. He was the loving father of the late Christina Louise Johnson. Les was the proud grandfather of Oni Robertson. He was the brother of Johnny Johnson and Terry Johnson and his wife, Marilyn Sajulan Johnson. Les was the uncle of Marissa Lyn Johnson and Mason Linley Johnson.
Les was an avid reader and was well-traveled. He found peace and comfort in wild nature. Leslie was a Freemason and member of Alpha No. 659 AF & AM.
