Lettie Rene’ Solomon, 70, died peacefully at home on June 25, 2025. Lettie was born on October 6, 1954 in Kansas City, MO to Charles and Bernice (Huffman) Rogers. She graduated from Winnetonka High School in 1973. Lettie married Jim in 1983 whom she meet while working at Smugglers Inn and had 2 children, Jared and Rene. Over the years she has worked as a server at Margarita’s, ran Mima’s Daycare with her mother, and did custodial work at Park University. Lettie was a devoted mother and grandmother never missing even the smallest of performances or events. She was a generous and caring woman who made it her goal to make sure the people around her were well taken care of. She enjoyed spending time with her family, reading, and drinking coffee while visiting with friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents Charles and Bernice Rogers, two brothers Robin and Kalem Rogers, and beloved pets Ava, Izzy, and Scout to name a few.
Lettie is survived by her husband, Jim Solomon of the home; children, Jared (Justin) Summers of Kansas City, Rene (Andy) Humble of Rich Hill; and grandchildren Marie Solomon, Alaynna Humble, Evalynn Humble, and Piper Humble.
