Lila June (Jeffrey) Leipard, 87, passed away on Wednesday, January 18, 2017. Funeral services will be Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at 10:00 am with visitation at 9:00 am at D.W. Newcomer’s Sons White Chapel Funeral Home. Burial immediately following at White Chapel Memorial Gardens. Lila was a janitor at TWA for 20 years. She was the President of her own company, Child Nutrition Services, Inc. for 20 years. She was also very active at Linden Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, L.H. “Bud” Leipard. Bud and Lila shared 62 years of a very happy marriage. She was also preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and two brothers. Survivors include her daughter, Diana Pope and her husband, John; Son, Steven Leipard; Grandchildren, Silas and Rodney Leipard and Melissa Watzke and Great-Grandchildren, Elizabeth, Brianna, Jasmine, Jade, Abigail, Ethan, Selena and Scout. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Linden Baptist Church Adult Missions Fund.
