Linda Fae Kracht

Linda Fae Kracht passed away on Wednesday, March 26, 2025 surrounded by family at her home in Gladstone, MO. She was born on May 18, 1944 in Leavenworth County, KS to the late Thomas Perry Porter and Mattie Dell Bryant Porter.

Linda was the beloved wife of the late George L. Kracht. She was the loving mother of Craig Chambers and Stacie Norris. Linda was the proud grandmother of Madeline Chambers, Kyle Norris, Joshua Chambers, and Megan Hanson. She was the sister of Joyce Balken and the late Joy Waters.

Linda was a successful business owner in Gladstone, MO for over 50 years. Her hard work and dedication to her family and business established her as a pillar of the community. Her business, Glad Rents, is one of the oldest businesses in the Northland and still in operation to this day. Until her passing, she was the oldest business owner in the area still operating her business every day. Linda had a rare ability to be kind, friendly, and loving but also to be strong, stern, and business savvy. She used this ability to touch everyone’s life with whom she came in contact. Linda will be dearly missed by friends and family.
