Lloyd was born October 19, 1934 in Topeka, Kansas to Raymond C. and Elsie (Welsh) Reed. On December 4, 1964 he married Juanita. They were married 57 years. When they married they created a blended family with his 3 and her 5 children. They called them "their great 8". He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. Juanita was the love of his life, you never knew if you would walk in and catch them kissing and holding hands. One of the things he enjoyed most was family time.
After working 26 years at TWA, he retired and moved to Ulman, Missouri. He then worked 10 years at School of the Osage Elementary. He was a very talented man. He designed and built their retirement home. He loved working with wood.
