Lucile Haston Keeton, 90, of Kansas City, Missouri passed away on June 9, 2021. Lucile was born September 1, 1930 in Clark, Missouri to Gilbert and Ruth Kimbrough. She also had two siblings, a brother Gene Kimbrough and a sister Katherine "Kitty" Kimbrough. In 1946 Lucile was married to Arthur Agler and had a son Bobby Gene. In 1950 she was married to James Roy Haston and lived on farm outside of Keytesville, Missouri and two more sons were added to the family Roy Gilbert and James Randall. The family owned Haston's Cafe for five years before selling it and moving to Kansas City in 1971. After a very long illness James Roy passed away in 1988. Lucile was married to A.E. "Tom" Keeton in 1993 and made home in northern Kansas City until Tom's passing in 1998. She worked for Hardees Food System for 17 years before retiring. Lucile was a member of the Antioch Bible Baptist Church for 32 years. In her later years she lived at Englewood Vista Senior Apartments before moving to Heritage Avonlea of Gladstone Assisted Living.
Lucile is survived by sons Bob Agler (Connie), Roy Haston (Pamela), Jim Haston (Brenda), 9 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.
