Lula Fern (Webb) Barber of Kansas City, MO, formerly of Edgerton, MO, passed away at home on Monday, February 2, 2015. She was born October 29, 1918 to Woodson Lee and Mary Leona (Sevage) Webb in Linden, MO. She is survived by a brother, Sidney Webb of Issaquah, WA; 4 daughters, Nancy Weidenhammer of Holt, MO, Carolyn Cone (David) of the home, Shirley Evans (Brian) of Kansas City, MO and Katherine Carter (Mike) of Pleasant Valley, MO and daughter in law, Jeanie Barber of Gower, MO. She leaves 13 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 11 great great grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her husband, Willard Barber; son, Irvin Lee Barber; son in law, Charles Weidenhammer; 4 brothers and 2 sisters. Services will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, February 5, 2015 at White Chapel Funeral Home, 6600 NE Antioch Rd., Gladstone, MO 64119. Visitation will be from 10-11:00 am, prior to services. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to NorthCare Hospice.
