He attended Missouri University where he was a member of Phi Delta Theta fraternity, he graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Education in 1964 and a Masters Degree in 1969.
Lynn was united in marriage to Jeanne Birt on August 20th 1967 and their daughter Shannon was born in 1969.
Lynn taught and coached in Savannah Missouri from 1964 to 1967, worked for IBM 1967 to 1969, he then taught and coached in the Independence School District where he retired after 30 years.
Lynn was preceded in death by his parents, brother Robert Snowden and sister Barbara Scovill.
He is survived by his wife Jeanne, daughter Shannon Jehn, granddaughter Jordan Jehn and brother Philip Snowden.
