Mark Shawn Flint, age 63, of Kansas City, Missouri died unexpectedly on Monday, September 25, 2023. Mark was born February 14, 1960 in Kansas City, Missouri to Donald and Barbara Flint. Growing up, Mark lived with his family in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Mark graduated from North Kansas City High School in 1978. In 1986, Mark moved to Sioux Falls, South Dakota to work for Citibank. He moved back to Kansas City in 2000, where he made his home.
Mark married Deborah Eastwood in 2009. Mark retired as Vice President Senior Infrastructure Technical Analyst in 2017 from Citibank. Mark was an accomplished trumpet player and loved to listen to jazz. Mark was a member of Solid Rock Bible Church.
Mark is preceded in death by his parents, Donald R. Flint and Barbara J. Flint. Mark is survived by his wife, Deborah Flint; his daughter, August Miles; his stepson, Kelly Magers; his sisters, Sherrie Gibson, and Melissa Flint; and two grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life for Mark will be held Saturday, October 21, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Solid Rock Bible Church, 2501 NE Parvin Road, Kansas City, Missouri 64116.
