Mary Lee (McCool) Campbell, 92, died on January 9, 2017 in Gladstone, MO. Mary was born on November 10, 1924 in Hartford, KS. After high school, she moved to Kansas City to work as a secretary at Russell Stovers. She met Emil, the love of her life, at a dance and they danced their way through 73 beautiful years together. She fiercely believed in God and prayed her way through life. Her family and friends will never forget her cakes, chicken noodle soup, life lessons taught, forgiveness and grace. Mary is survived by her husband, Emil Campbell; daughter, Billie Exposito (Chris); grandchildren, Phillip Pursel, Amie Smith (BJ), Angela Strohm (Brian) and Anthony Exposito; great grandchildren, Sydney Pursel, Ian Pursel (Heather), Lillie Smith, Lola Strohm and Scarlett Strohm; and great-great grandchild, Violet Pursel. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Shirley Pursel. Visitation will be at 1 p.m., with funeral service at 2 p.m. on Thursday, January 12, 2017 at White Chapel Funeral Home, 6600 NE Antioch Rd., Gladstone, MO 64119.
