Mary Herrera

She is survived by her sisters, Rose Clifford of San Felipe Mexico and Jean Harp of Goodyear Arizona, her four children-Amber Knotts (Jeff), Alicia Herrera (Dan), April Mina and Philip Herrera II (Janie), eight grandchildren-Jessica, Diego, Jackson, Dominic, DeMarco, Gabriella, Olive and Lola and three great grandchildren-Grace, Deacon and Annabeth.

Born in Modesto, California to Otis and Avis Harp, July 28, 1948. Mary was the oldest of three daughters. She graduated from Modesto High School in Modesto, California.

Mary made her career as a legal secretary. She had a passion for history, traveling and reading a great book. She loved spending weekends with her grandchildren and being outdoors.

To know Mary was a gift. Her heart was very kind, she never met a stranger. Everyone who knew her loved her. Raising four kids, she always made room to love anyone she came into contact with. Losing her will leave a deep void for all who knew her.

A visitation for Mary will be held Saturday, August 2, 2025 at 2:00 PM at White Chapel Funeral Home, 6600 NE Antioch Rd, Gladstone, MO 64119. A celebration of life will occur Saturday, August 2, 2025 at 3:00 PM, 6600 NE Antioch Rd, Gladstone, MO 64119. A reception will occur Saturday, August 2, 2025 at 4:00 PM, 6600 NE Antioch Rd, Gladstone, MO 64119.
