Jill shared 53 wonderful years of marriage with her beloved husband John Michael “Mike” Scruby. She was a devoted mother and friend to Angie(Osiel)Meza and Kari(Jeff)Carrier and a proud grandmother to Javier(Brieanna)Meza, Antonio Meza, Kason Carrier, and Macie Carrier.
She was also a loved sibling to: Fred (Marily), Paul (Sandy), Mark, Kris (Joe), Todd, Sharm (Sue), and Janna (Dave) along with many cherished nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
Family was the center of Jill’s life. She loved preserving memories through scrapbooking, cardmaking, and treasured every opportunity to share adventures with those that she loved. If she wasn’t with family, you could usually find her with her lifelong friends, Stephanie and Rhonda. Jill’s strength, faith, kindness, and Christian example touched the lives of many and will continue to inspire those who knew her.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her family and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Celebration of Life on Friday Oct. 30th from 4pm-9pm at the Pleasant Valley Community Building at 6805 Sobbie Rd, Pleasant Valley, MO 64068. Committal Service will be at Leavenworth National Cemetery, 150 Muncie Rd, Leavenworth, KS 66048 on Nov. 2nd at 1:30pm.
