Maryanne Shutler, 81, passed on in peace on Tuesday, May 26th, 2015, at Liberty Hospital, in Liberty, MO. Maryanne was preceded in death by her parents, Dr. Guy E. and Bertha A. Finkle of McPherson, KS and her sister, Arlene Mingenback of Great Bend, KS. Maryanne is survived by her four children, Susan Squires, Sally Shutler, Steve Shutler and Sara Watkins and four grandchildren, Cate Squires, Kyle Watkins, A.G. Squires and Alexa Shutler. She was a dedicated mother to her children and a very proud grandmother. Maryanne spent five years as a house mother at the Alpha Delta Pi sorority and two years as a house mother at the Alpha Gamma Rho fraternity in Manhattan, KS. She was an active member in the International P.E.O. Sisterhood, Chapter AZ, Lawrence, KS, and a Certified Master Gardener. The family will receive friends at the Memorial Service to be held at Mount Moriah, Newcomer and Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Rd., Kansas City, MO 64131, on Wednesday, June 10th, 2015, at 3:00 pm.
