Michael fought cancer for many months. Michael was born to Bill (Pam) Black and Bonnie Black on March 10, 1972 He graduated from Stover High School in 1989. After graduation, Michael worked as a laborer.
Michael was very family oriented and loved his children with all his heart. When his grandmother Marguerite was sick, he stayed and helped until she passed. As well as being family oriented, Michael was very kind-hearted and loving to everyone he met. He was passionate about fishing and loved to shoot pool. He also enjoyed going to the park with his kids and playing outdoors.
Michael is preceded in death by his grandparents, Jimmy and Marguerite Hastings; Stanton and Josie Black, and his second mom, Marsha Walters.
Michael is survived by his mother Bonnie Black; father Billy (Pam) Black; Anthony’s mother Kristi Latham; wife Shaunna Huber; five children: Anthony, Taylor, Maci, Colton, and Behr; five brothers: Ronnie (Grace) Black, Billy (Ashley) Black, Jimmy (Lynette) Black, Chuck (Kelly) Black, Brian (Tammy) Akers; sister Nicole (Bert) Thogmartin; aunts: Judy Mender Hall, Sharon (Earl) Puff, Nancy (Gary) Poo, Patty (Butch) Miller, Ann Black; and uncle Ray Hastings. He also leaves behind many more loved Aunts, Uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life for Michael will be held Friday, January 7, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Newcomer's White Chapel Funeral Home, 6600 NE Antioch Road, Gladstone, MO 64119.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Michael’s name may be made to Research Cancer Center.
