Millie was born on November 23, 1931 in Peabody, Kansas to Archie and June Good. She graduated from North Kansas City High School. She married the love of her life, Wayne Croy, in 1952. They were married for 66 years, until Wayne’s passing, living in Illinois, California and Missouri. She worked for Goodyear Tires, and spent the majority of her life as a homemaker welcoming and caring for her family and friends. They had three children – Tammy, David, and Steve. Her family will remember her as a strong compassionate woman who was passionate about family, faith, and making positive differences in the lives of others. She enjoyed traveling, reading, gardening, learning, painting, crafting and spending time with family and friends. Millie was an active member of Faubion United Methodist Church devoting time and energy through the years to United Methodist Women, Choir, Sunday School, Worship, Youth group and stained glass design to name a few of her activities. She also volunteered for many years at Harvesters and ReStart, belonged to and held offices in Missouri Homemaker’s Extension, Epsilon Sigma Alpha – Delta Mu Chapter, Church Women United, PTA, Cub Scouts, Eastern Star, and Job’s Daughters.
Millie was preceded in death by her parents; Archie and June Good, her brother Laurence Good, her husband Wayne Croy, and many beloved pets.
She is survived by her children Tammy (Kenny) Eldridge, David (Cindy) Croy, Steve (Tandy) Croy, grandchildren Zach Eldridge, Lauren Eldridge, Sam (Maggie) Croy, Ben Croy, Taylor (Seth) Brown, Douglas (Abigail) Croy, Great grandchildren Millie and Wells Brown, and Steven Croy, and nieces, nephews and cousins.
