Morris J. Haynes, 72, of Kansas City, Missouri went to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 28, 2018. He was born on October 14, 1946 in Anniston, Alabama to Forney and Marjorie Haynes. Morris married the love of his life Pamela on May 6, 1967 and they enjoyed 51 years together. He started working for Robert G. Evans Company, now Husqvarna, directly out of high school and eventually retired in 2011 after 44 years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Northern Heights for over 50 years and he enjoyed his weekly breakfast with the men. Morris enjoyed spending time with his grandson Tyler.
Morris was preceded in death by both his parents and Berry. He is survived by his wife, Pamela; his daughter, Malinda Roberson; his grandson, Tyler Roberson; his sister Renee L'Hommedieu; brother, Jack Haynes and wife Rita; brother-in-law Richard Berry and wife Paula, and sister-in-law Malinda Ohrenberg.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, November 1, at 4:30 pm at First Baptist Church of Northern Heights, 6311 NW Waukomis Dr., Kansas City, Missouri.
