Nick leaves behind his father, Donald R. Chaffin of Kearney, MO, brother, Tyler A. Chaffin of Kearney, MO, nephews Landon Michael Chaffin of Liberty, MO and Luka Meyer of Kansas City, KS, grandparents Donald P. McCall of Liberty, MO, Kenneth L. Chaffin of Richmond, MO and Barbara Chaffin of Marshfield, WI, his FedEx MCI work family, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and many childhood friends. Nick was preceded in death by his loving mother, Shelby M. Chaffin, grandmother Carolyn L. McCall, and his favorite dog of all time, Hooch.
Nick attended Oak Park High School and was a long-time employee at FedEx MCI. He loved sports, especially football, and mixed martial arts. He was an avid Chiefs fan. Nick was a hard worker and an amazing family member. He always looked after his family and would help them in every way he could. Nick was very funny and had a wonderful heart. Life threw him many obstacles, but he always kept trying.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Funeral Service at White Chapel Funeral Home, 6600 NE Antioch Rd., Gladstone, MO 64119 on Wednesday, August 5, 2026 at 2:00 PM with Visitation from 1:00 PM until service time.
