Norma Jean Sapp

Norma Jean Sapp (Briant), beloved wife, mother and grandmother, age 81 passed away peacefully on January 15, 2022 surrounded by her family. Norma was born December 18, 1940 at home in Breckenridge, Missouri to Roy D. and Donna Fay Briant (Floyd). Norma married Clarence Harold Sapp, Jr. September 1, 1962.

Norma was a loving, nurturing, wife, mother, and grandmother who will be remembered for her caring and kindness. She would open her door to anyone in need. She worked very hard in her lifetime and fiercely loved her family.

Norma was preceded in death by her daughter Suzanne C. Sapp of Kansas City, MO.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Clarence H. Sapp, Jr. Her children Leigh Ann Faherty of Gladstone, MO; Gregory Sapp (Marilyn) of Kansas City, MO and Debra Jacobson of Rosemount, MN. She has 9 grandchildren: Matthew Sapp (Tanya), Jacob Wilcox (Heather), Alan Sapp (Elizabeth), Kristen Cahill (Cameron), Megan Sapp, Mckenna Jacobson, William Faherty, Luke Jacobson, and Kelsey Jacobson) and 3 greatgrandchildren (Michael Wilcox, Ellie Wilcox and Theodore Sapp) with another great granddaughter on the way.

Visitation will be Thursday, February 3, 2022 starting at 12:30 p.m. Celebration of Life starting at 1:30 p.m. at Newcomer’s White Chapel Funeral Home 6600 NE Antioch Road, Gladstone, MO.
