Pattie was born on 2 July 1954 in Kansas City, Missouri to Ralph Elbert Hampton and Wilma Lee Hughes Hampton. She graduated from North Kansas City High School in 1972 and was a graduate of the North Kansas City Beauty School. Pattie married Darrell Blevins, on 14 February 1973 in Kansas City, Missouri. They were married for 51 years. Pattie loved to go to nursing homes and care for their hair needs long before mobile haircare was popular. Pattie was a kind, loving, happy soul. She loved her family. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the light of her life. She raised her grandchildren after the death of her daughter. She was an amazing daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend to many. She exemplified unconditional love to those she met and would strike up a conversation with anyone. Pattie loved animals, especially horses. She grieved the loss of her dog, Potter, just days before her passing. She passed her last weeks watching Lassie and drinking Pepsi Zero.
Pattie is preceded in death by her daughter, Jennifer Rattler, and her parents.
Pattie is survived by her husband Darrell, Kansas City, Missouri; grandson, Marcus (Meghan) Rattler, Kansas City, Missouri; granddaughter, Kayla Rattler, (Harley Wickline), Independence, Missouri; great-grandchildren Phillip Rattler, Kansas City, Missouri, Donovan Rattler, Carson Rattler, both of Independence, Missouri.
