Patricia Cordell

Visitation will begin at 9 AM, Thursday, August 1st, at St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church, 4737 N Cleveland Ave, Kansas City, MO 64117.

Rosary will be prayed at 10:00 AM. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 AM.

Burial will take place at White Chapel Cemetery, 6600 NE Antioch Rd, Gladstone, MO 64119.

She was a long-time member of St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church. Patricia was born into a family of fourteen siblings, to Arsenio Jose and Pricilla Madrid. She was an AT&T elevator operator, and then worked at the Jones Store as a switchboard operator for twenty years, before retirement. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Cordell.

Survivors include her children, Richard Castaneda (Cathy), Michael Cordell, Edgar Cordell, Helen Cordell, and Anna Cordell; sisters, Lucy Woods, Mary Jane Stottlemeyer, Hilda Johnson, Rosita Grisnik, and Prescilla Novak (Stan); grandchildren, Tim, Katie, Annie, Patrick, Rachel, and Jasmine; and great grandchildren, Isla, Mason, and Autumn; as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a great cook, she loved God, and always put others first. She will be greatly missed.
